Checking the file on the server...
This downloads LoreWind-Setup.exe from lorewind.app. Run it and LoreWind installs, then opens in its own window.

Windows or your browser may show a warning
Chrome and Edge may say this installer "isn't commonly downloaded", and Windows may say it does not recognize the app. LoreWind Studios is a new, independent studio, and our installer is not yet widely used. These warnings can appear for new or uncommon downloads, even when the installer is digitally signed.
Check two things before you run it. First, that you downloaded the file from lorewind.app and not from somewhere else. Then the signature: right-click the file, choose Properties, open Digital Signatures, select the signature and choose Details. Check that Windows reports the signature is valid and the signer is LoreWind Studios LLC.
If both of those check out and Windows says only that it does not recognize the app, More info and then Run anyway are how you go on. This option may be unavailable on a managed computer.
A message calling the download dangerous or harmful is a different message from an uncommon one. If Windows, your browser or your antivirus says that, or blocks the file for a security reason, stop there. Do not run it, and tell us at [email protected] so we can look into it.

This downloads LoreWind.apk from lorewind.app. Open the file, then follow Android's installation prompts.

Because this file did not come from the Play Store, Android asks your permission before it installs. Android may ask you to allow installation from your browser or file manager. Older versions use an Unknown sources setting. Follow your phone's prompt, then return to the downloaded file.
Android may also offer to send the app to Google to be checked before it installs. That is Play Protect, and you can let it run.
Play Protect saying an app is harmful is a different thing from Android asking your permission. If it says that, or blocks the install for a security reason, stop there and tell us at [email protected].
You do not have to install anything
LoreWind is a website first. Open it in any browser and everything on this page is already there, with nothing to download and nothing to keep up to date. On a phone a few taps give it its own icon and a full screen without a file at all.
When a new version arrives
Come back here, download the new file and run it. It replaces the one you have, and there is nothing to remove first. Your saved worlds and stories are stored on your account, so they are there after you reinstall; save any changes you have open before you update.
